Our content calendar is shaped by a mix of factors:

- Trends in the beauty and wellness space, researched through industry sources and search behavior

5. Write an honest assessment. Our final review reflects our genuine conclusion, including both strengths and limitations of the product. We do not publish exclusively positive reviews simply because a product has an affiliate program attached to it.
How We Handle Brand Comparisons
Articles like comparisons are built using the same evaluation criteria across every brand or product involved, so the comparison remains as fair and consistent as possible. We do not favor one brand over another based on affiliate commission rates or partnership opportunities, our goal is to help readers make the choice that’s actually right for them, even if that means recommending the option that earns us less.
Sourcing and Fact-Checking
For content involving herbs, plants, and traditional beauty practices, we rely on a combination of historical and cultural references, publicly available botanical information, and general consensus across credible sources. Where scientific claims are made about specific ingredients, we aim to reflect what is broadly supported by available evidence, while being clear about the difference between traditional use and clinically proven efficacy.
We do not present anecdotal or traditional claims as scientifically validated fact. When a topic is not clearly settled, we say so, rather than overstating certainty.
Updates and Corrections
The beauty and wellness industry evolves constantly, formulations change, new research emerges, and brands update their product lines. Because of this, we periodically review and update older content to keep it accurate.
If a reader notifies us of outdated or inaccurate information, or if we identify it ourselves, we correct it as promptly as possible. Significant updates to a previously published article may be noted with a revised “Last updated” date.

All content published under the FloraGlowUp name is either written or reviewed by our editorial team, led by founder Camila Duarte. Any guest contributions or collaborations are clearly credited, and are held to the same editorial standards described on this page, including independence from brand influence and a commitment to factual accuracy.
What We Won’t Do
To protect the integrity of our content, there are a few things we commit to never doing:
- We will not publish a positive review of a product we genuinely believe underperforms, regardless of affiliate potential
- We will not present sponsored content as if it were independent editorial content without clear disclosure
